The problem

A website is not a painting. Certificates expire, dependencies go out of date, browsers change, and forms silently stop delivering to an inbox nobody is checking.

The most common thing we find on a site that is two years old is not a design problem. It is a contact form that has not delivered an email since the spring, and nobody noticed because the failure is invisible from the outside.

How we approach it

Every build is quoted with a care plan alongside it rather than sold one afterwards. You are not obliged to take one — but hosting alone tends to cost roughly what the entry plan does, so most people do.

The plans are deliberately simple. Hosting, SSL and uptime monitoring on all of them; the difference is how many edits you get and whether we are actively improving the site each month rather than just keeping it alive.

Website care — the common questions

Do I have to take a care plan?

No. But something has to host the site, keep the certificate valid and fix it when a form breaks at 6pm on a Friday. Plans start at £25 a month, which is roughly where hosting alone would land you anyway.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Care plans run month to month and start the month after launch. If you cancel, the site and domain are yours and we will help you move them wherever you want them hosted.

What counts as a small edit?

Changing prices, opening hours or a phone number. Swapping a photograph. Adding a paragraph or a new review. Putting up a Christmas closure notice. A new page or a new booking system is a piece of work rather than an edit, and we will always tell you which one something is before doing it.
